H ere in Daniw, you are not only helped how to be good students. You are also equipped with lessons on how to be competent professionals.
Many were inspired to pursue their entrepreneur leanings after hearing Mrs. Ana Maria Tangchanco talk about how she started and managed Taters Snack League. Since her visit last year, we discovered how to gain more confidence in starting ones business.
She made us realize that entrepreneurs are both thinkers and doers. They are not merely born with the skill but they have to learn it through time and experience. She also debunked the popular premise that starting ones business is first and foremost having money as a capital. Rather, it is having the right attitude and aptitude to start a business that will make it a success.

Girls were treated to a free tutorial on basic sketching by professional painter Fernando Sena.
Fernando Sena earned his fine arts degree, major in painting, at the University of the East (UE), in the Philippines. He became an art teacher for the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. (CMLI), giving art lessons mostly to underprivileged youth. His classes became so popular that he eventually started his own workshops. Inspired by the enthusiasm of his students, Sena founded the Kabataan Tondo Art Group, which conducted free art workshops in depressed areas and in the provinces. He also joined the faculty of the University of the Philippines.
