Academic activities in Daniw aim to complement the training received in school by providing alternative activities for learning and developing one's skills.

The Center is equipped with a library and study rooms where students can spend many hours of quiet individual study or hold group study sessions with classmates.

Apart from providing the venue for studying, Daniw provides the venue for local and international academic forums. Some examples are:

UNIV Congress: an international gathering of university students organized annually by the Italy-based Istituto per la Cooperazione Universitaria (ICU) since 1968. In the Philippines, the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI) has been ICU’s local counterpart organizing the UNIV National Congresses since 1974.
